Unforgettable farewell party in Luis Esterlinhas bar at Porto Abrigo. We all came from seven different nationalities. Good wine, cold beer and perfect atmosphere on a chili evening at the Atlantic frontier town.
Some of us are making major improvements to the yachts some smaller tasks. The Silcar boatyard is a perfect help in any needs you can imagine for your boat. The personnel is nice and helpful.
We prepare us for an early start down the Atlantic coastline. Our friends Jens and Chris are sailing with us.
Last help from the Silcar yard! The skilled mechanican came to fix our battery separator early in the morning. Just perfect after our coffee at Luis place.
Ready to rock'n'roll. Sailing from Nazare to Berlenga. Big swell and almost no wind to Penishe. We sail to Berlenga which appears really beautifull in the evening sun. Really worth visiting.
Impossible for us to anchor at Berlenga, we sail further to Penishe harbor and Again a meat stew is in the oven!
During the night a MOB came through the VHF ten miles north of us. We really hope the coast guard rescued the sailor. Good system here everybody has to quit the message and the coast guard sees immediately the positions of the vessels.
