Whiskey stays of GRP laminate

The stays are of GRP with foam core. They are going to be covered with strong coal fiber layers.

The spade

Here are the new Spade modifications

We made the rudder a bit longer to get a bit more hold before the broach.
The leading edge is straight and the lover part is made so that if we hit something it loosens. We also checked the RST bearings that look very good.

Fuel tanks

Extra fuel tank installation.

We are going to have two main tanks 55 l each and 3 x 20 l aluminium cans fitted and secured below deck. We possibly need some extra cans on deck for the Atlantic crossing.

Now just to fasten the whole thing. 50 pieces of 8 mm stainless bolts and laminate joint on either side of the hull. Piece of cake but still a lot of details to be solved.

Starting to put the interior together again

A lot of screws and  work to put the interior together again. We found a new colour beside the varnish. The grey colour is stylish and gives a needed variation for the wood works.
