Places we visited

Before the new leg of our sailing trip, I want to present some pictures of places, towns, fishing villages we visited last summer.

  • Starting from the historic town of Bayona where Torre de Hercules is guarding the entrance of the harbor. The historic sailing ship Pinta is also present in the harbor. The Bayona sailing club was the finest of all the clubs we saw.
  • Brest a town with its exquisite sailing character that bretons reign.
  • Mont St Michael a powerful monumental town of religious history.
  • Small Danish island of Christiansö with its northern fortress.
  • Dutch and Frisian islands with huge sailing and fishing traditions.
  • Galichian fishing communities lying at the entrance of the Atlantic ocean.
  • Lisboa last but not least the most facinating town on our trip and also Portugals coast with its ancient fishing villages.
  • We left our boat at the famous old fishing town Nazaré which is today famous of  the surfers waves.
