Subject: Funchal - Santa Cruz de la Palma
To: Jukka Pohjola <jukka.pohjola@gmail.com>
We are sitting in a windy Marina of La Palma ( Santa Cruz de la Palma ). This was again a very fast downwind sailing from Funchal harbor in Madeira to Santa Cruz de la Palma. 50 hours and 245 Nm of distance. After enjoying a fast food meal and a few beers in Spar coffee shop, we are about to fall into asleep. 2eur / 2 beers - very reasonable.
Sailing was pleasant and Atlantic ocean gives a constant wind all day long. No banging waves and windless nights as we are used in baltic sea. The same in North sea every time I'm there.

Tomorrow we climb to the local mountain if and only if we are in shape after being awake two hours watches during last two days. We still reserve the right to sutch sports achievement.
I try to load some photos after recovering.
