Greetings from sunny Christiansö, the island is as beautiful as I remember it from previous sailing trips. The night we left Visby was stormy, three thunder stom fronts followed us all night and the following day. Finally the beautiful island of Cristiansö came in front of our eyes. It was a moment of joy to arrive to Christiansö after thundery rain stoms.  The crew acclimated well after good sailing trip through the dark nights. Our gourmet kitchen with the cheff Pertti delighted the creww and the captain wit delicious dinners. Gar pike was caught, but swam from our slippery aft deck. The fishermen have to wait. Even our new young captain was satisfied of the varying weather conditions and landscapes.

Utö after motoring through a calm night. We a enjoyable swimming hour between Gotska Sandö and Gotland. The sea was covered with vegetation. Only here we found spots of clear water maybe because of the stream between the islands.

 Lähtö Airistolle syömään päivällistä. Kaikki bunkrattu, vesi ja diesel tankkeihin. Kiire pois nyt maistuu yksi kylmä olut! Koko jengi laiturilla.

S/y Naneux in water

In to the water she goes !

S/y  Naneux was hoisted to water yesterday, yesterday we also made the mast ready for hoisting. New halyards and electric cables. Todays program is the mast, the crane is reserved at 12.00

Good friends at the Yard, Paraisten Venekeskus took the boat to the shed for the paintwork to dry. This was a relief because tof he weather had turned  rainy and cold. 

Mast maker is also coming to the Yard tomorrow to fix a few things. The birds nest first of all!!!

Luck that I got one day with sunshine. Last coal fibre stiffeners are laminated and ready.  Still two halogen lamps are securing the curing process. Tomorow S/y Naneux is moving to the dock and in to the water. Mast is still under service. New halyards and electrical cables.

Last week starts 

New rudder on it's way to the boat. Boom service and new portlights.

New transom, Voila!

At last the new transom glued to the hull. Now fast and dirty finish i the coming days with a lot of tasks to be done. The aft of the boat looks much better!
